Youth Empowerment Book Project

Welcome to the Youth Empowerment Book Project! A collaborative initiative celebrating the creativity, resilience, and unique voices of youth aged 5–17 in Bradford and East Gwillimbury.

The Youth Empowerment Book is your chance to shine! Whether you love to write, draw, take photos, or perform, this project is for EVERYONE—no experience or special skills required.

What Is the Youth Empowerment Book?

The Youth Empowerment Book is a community project that features submissions from local youth, including:

  • Stories and Poems: Personal reflections, short stories, or poems about meaningful moments.

  • Artwork and Photos: Creative drawings, paintings, or photography.

  • Videos: Performances, demonstrations of talents, or reflections on special experiences.

A portion of the book's sales will be donated to the Youth Empowerment Collective, supporting programs that uplift and inspire young people.


Who Can Participate?

This project is open to all youth aged 5–17 living in Bradford and East Gwillimbury.Whether you’re an experienced artist or just trying something new, your story and creativity matter.


How to Submit

  1. Choose Your Creative Outlet: Write a story, draw a picture, take a photo, or record a video.

  2. Use the Resource Guide: Download our Empowering Youth to Share Their Stories workbook for fun activities and tips to get started.

  3. Submit Your Work: Visit our submission page to upload your creation. Click Here to Submit Your Story Now for the Youth Empowerment Book!
